
Tim has recently been on the 2025 UK tour of 'Blood Brothers' and earlier this year played the Hospital Ghost in the UK tour of 'Ghost The Musical'. Other recent theatre performances have included the UK tour of 'Dreamboats and Petticoats' and 'Gypsy' at The Mill At Sonning (which won Best Musical Production of 2023 at the UK Theatre Awards.)
Tim has also made several appearances as alto saxophonist with one of the UK's leading Steely Dan tribute bands, 'Nearly Dan'. Prior to the pandemic, Tim played the principal role of band leader Mark Minton, and featured as alto saxophone/lead clarinet in the 16-piece on-stage big band in 'The Glenn Miller Story', starring Tommy Steele, at the Coliseum Theatre in London's West End. Before this, Tim appeared as Monsignor O'Hara in the UK tour of 'Sister Act', starring Alexandra Burke.
Over the last four years Tim has completed numerous translations of plays and musicals from German into English, including 'The Physician', 'Robin Hood', 'Beauty and the Beast', 'William Tell', 'Scrooge', 'Bambi', 'A Touch Of Colour','Heidi'and 'Oliver' (among others) for German theatre publishers. He has also provided on-stage surtitles for various productions at the Deutsches Theater Berlin, the Maxim Gorky Theater Berlin, the Duesseldorfer Schauspielhaus and Theater Basel Switzerland. Tim has also acted as script consultant on several new European musicals and was recently Voice and Dialect Coach for the new South African musical 'Clarence Square' which showcased at the Wintergarten TheaterBerlin in March 2024.
Tim translated and project-managed productions of the music theatre piece 'In May', with music by Neil Hannon (The Divine Comedy), in Glasgow, Lancaster and Brighton. The Divine Comedy's album 'Foreverland' DeLuxe version includes 'In May' as a bonus disc.
